Voice and data network operator Interoute on Monday announced full support for QuickTime 7. The company has deployed a global network of QuickTime Streaming Server systems to distribute digital content, as well.
The announcement was timed with the release of Interoute’s Media Manager 2.1, which it bills as “an industrial strength media streaming and delivery platform for web, mobile and IPTV which uses QuickTime 7, QuickTime Streaming Server and the Xserve G5 server.”
Interoute provides voice and data services to carriers, mobile operators, service providers, enterprises and government departments. It operates throughout Europe and North America.
