CS Odessa has introduced ConceptDraw Project 2.0, a new version of their project planning software for Mac OS X and Windows. It’s a free upgrade for users of the 1.x version, and costs US$179 for new users. System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.2 or later. A trial version is available for download.
ConceptDraw Project lets project planners manage work and resource sharing among multiple teams. The software lets you set up project calendars, generate reports that can be posted to the Web, exchange project data with Microsoft Project users through XML support and much more.
New to this release is the ability to allocate a single resource to several simultaneous projects. Resource Calendar and Man per Hour Calculation functions have been added. A variety of reports can now bee saved to RTF and Excel formats, as well.
In addition to selling ConceptDraw Project on its own, CS Odessa offers task-specific bundles with its Mindmap Pro and ConceptDraw V software. Visit the Web site for further details.
