Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) on Tuesday introduced a new AutoPod car charger. The AutoPod works with Apple iPods, iPod minis and iPod nanos, and comes in both black and white versions. The AutoPod costs US$24.99 and is available online now.
The AutoPod recharges your iPod’s battery using your vehicle’s cigarette lighter or accessory adapter. The AutoPod has been redesigned with a curvy new design, and now features a transparent three-stage charging status indicator. It features a 24-inch coiled cable that can stretch to over five feet in length, and includes velcro tabs if you’d like to mount it or your iPod on the dashboard. It also includes an in-line safety fuse that will protect your iPod from damage from electrical surges.
