Grammy award-winning new age musician Andreas Vollenweider is doing a series of appearances at Apple retail stores as part of the Apple stores’ “Made on a Mac” series. The five-stop tour will bring Vollenweider to spots on both coasts and in the midwest in October.
Vollenweider recently released his first album of new material in more than six years on Kin Kou Records. Entitled “ Vox,” it’s already available for purchase through Apple’s Tunes Music Store, and will hit retail store shelves next week.
Vollenweider is visiting five Apple stores in New York, Chicago, Oregon and California along with a percussionist to demonstrate how he uses Macs and Apple technology in making his music. He will also incorporate performance and audience discussion at the events, according to his label.
The schedule calls for Vollenweider to visit Apple’s Westchester Store on October 1st at 1:00 PM, the Chicago, Ill. store on October 3rd at 7:00 PM, the Portland, Ore. location on October 5th at 7:00 PM, San Francisco on October 6th at 7:00 PM and Los Angeles at 7:30 PM. Check your local Apple store for updated dates and times.
