New Jersey-based Phanfare Inc. on Thursday announced support for the Mac. Phanfare is an online photo and video sharing service that costs US$54.95 per year or $6.95 per month. The Mac support has officially entered public beta testing; a 30-day free trial is available for download.
Phanfare enables users to upload digital photos and movies to the Web as online albums. The photo albums are advertising-free, and the upload process happens in the background. You can select from different styles for your albums, and Phanfare doesn’t impose storage limits (bandwidth limits and individual file sizes apply, however). What’s more, you can print pictures through online printing services like Snapfish.
Mac system requirements for Phanfare call for Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger” or later.
