Digital Lifestyle Outfitters (DLO) on Thursday announced the availability of a downloadable “Fit Kit” — instructions — to help iPod nano users properly install the device in their TransPod. The TransPod is DLO’s combination iPod charger and FM radio that sells for US$99.99.
Although it was initially designed for the dock connector-equipped iPods and iPod minis, the TransPod is already compatible with the iPod nano as well. The iPod nano fits in place in the TransPod’s cradle using the “fit pads” that DLO includes with the TransPods to secure the iPod mini in place.
The downloadable “Fit Kit” is a PDF document available for download from DLO’s Support site that instructs you on how to assemble the fit pads with the included insert to make the iPod nano rest comfortable.
And like the iPod nano, the DLO TransPod is available in black and white.
