UK-based iPod accessory maker PodGear on Friday announced the launch of new cases designed to fit the different models of Apple iPods. The line includes the £14.99 (US$26.57) JumpSuit Plus and the £19.99 ($35.44) LeatherJacket. Both new product lines are shipping now.
The JumpSuit Plus is a skintight silicone case designed to fit the iPod mini, iPod 20 and 30GB models, and 40 and 60GB models. A version for the iPod nano will debut in November. It comes with a hard screen protector, detachable belt clip and two differently sized lanyards. It’s offered in six colors.
The LeatherJacket is, as the name implies, a leather case with soft velvet lining. Included is a detachable belt clip. The LeatherJack uses snap buttons to close and provides full access to the iPod’s screen, Click Wheel and ports. It’s available in three different sizes for the iPod mini, 20 and 30GB iPod, and 40 and 60GB iPod. The LeatherJacket comes in black — the version to fit the iPod mini also is available in “Salsa Red,” “Paradise Blue” and “Baby Pink.”
