Freeverse Software and Felt Tip Software have announced the release of Sound Studio 3, a digital audio recording software package for the Mac. Sound Studio 3 costs US$79.95 and will ship to retailers before the end of October, 2005.
Freeverse said the audio recording app is helpful for users interested in recording or editing lectures, creating podcasts, voice-notes, sermons, performances and more. Features include 24-bit, 96kHz sampling in stereo or mono, automatic recording starting and stopping based on timers or audio levels, sample-accurate edits, markers with text labels, time ruler with units for video and film, copy and past editing and much more.
The new version of Sound Studio features support for Tiger’s Core Audio and Automator technologies, as well as Audio Units.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3.9 or later, G3/500MHz or faster, 512MB RAM, 1GB hard disk space.
