New Yorkers have another Mac show heading their way in 2006, when KW Media Group’s inaugural MacLive Conference kicks off May 11 – 13, 2006 at the Jacob K. Javits Center in New York City.
The event is billed “the learning conference for creative professionals,” and has signed up Apple alumnus Guy Kawasaki, the legendary and original “evangelist” for the Macintosh platform. David Pogue, Bob LeVitus, Chris Breen and others are also scheduled to lead more than 50 educational sessions with training tracks on Mac OS X Tiger, Photoshop, Final Cut Pro and more.
Advanced registration has not yet opened, but MacLive has posted pricing information — conference passes range from US$149 for students to $499 for general registration — other discounts apply.
