If you have a new iPod nano or video-capable iPod in a black finish, you might be interested in Shure Inc.’s newest offerings. The company has announced its new line of E Series sound-isolating earphones, now in black. Shure is offering the E2c, E3c and E4c earphones in a black finish along with its customary white. Prices range for US$99 to $299, and the new black earphones will ship in November.
Shure’s E series are in-ear earphones that feature a sound-isolating design and come with three pairs of “Foam Sleeves” to provide a custom fit for your ear canal. The US$99 E2c was originally developed for professional musicians. The earphones feature “Dynamic MicroDriver” technology. The E3c earphones cost $179, and tout “WideBand MicroDriver” technology. The $299 E4c earphones use “Tuned Port Technology” and “High Definition” drivers for more full, rich response.
