US Modular on Tuesday announced the 120GB version of their Dragon Drive, a portable hard disk drive that costs US$399. The Dragon Drive is small enough to fit in a pocket and use USB 2.0 and FireWire 400 interfaces. The new 120GB version ships this month.
The Dragon Drive is clad in a stainless steel chassis. No external power supply is needed — the drive is is bus-powered, either through USB 2.0 or FireWire. It measures 5.2 x 3 x 0.8 inches and weighs 4.6 ounces. Included with the drive is one FireWire and two USB 2.0 cables.
US Modular’s Web site was not updated with information about the new drive as MacCentral posted this article.
