Tokyo-based iPod accessory maker Tunewear on Thursday announced Waterwear shuffle, a new water-resistant case for Apple’s iPod shuffle. It’s coming in November for US$24.95.
Waterwear shuffle is made of hard plastic with a waterproof seal to prevent liquid from entering the case — making it suitable for sunbathing, skiing, fishing and rafting, according to the company. A silicone wheel window lets you access the iPod’s controls.
Included is a lanyard to hang the Waterwear shuffle around your neck; you can also use your own strap to attach it to jeans or to a bag.
