Aten Technology Inc. on Monday introduced two new Digital Visual Interface (DVI)-based keyboard/video/mouse switches compatible with Macs and PCs. The new VS-261 and VS-461 are available for US$199.95 and $299.95 respectively.
The VS-261 is a two-port device that lets you switch between two DVI or analog media sources for output on a single display and set of speakers. The VS-461 is a four-port version. Both switches feature front panel switches, and an infrared remote control. They support resolutions of up to 1600 x 1200.
The Aten Web site had not been updated with information about the new KVM switches as MacCentral posted this article.
