Rochester, NY-based Ambrosia Software Inc. has released WireTap Pro v1.1.3, a minor bug-fix update for its audio capture utility. The update is free for registered users; WireTap Pro costs US$19.
WireTap Pro enables you to record audio on your Mac, from any source — you can record from any running application, as well as through the microphone, line-in, headset mic or even the Griffin RadioSHARK.
New to this release are bug fixes for a problem that could cause a mic to use an undesirable input format; a problem that caused the Save As dialog box to not work on Jaguar when saving to AAC, AIFF or QuickTime movie file formats, a crash fix for issuing a “Start Recording” command through AppleScript and more.
