UK-based iPod accessory maker PodGear has announced the launch of four new iPod accessories for the iPod nano and fifth-generation iPod: the PocketParty and JumpSuit Plus for iPod nano, and the PhotoBuddy and JumpSuit Plus for video-capable iPod. They’ll make their debut at MacExpo London, October 27 – 29, 2005.
The PocketParty for iPod nano is a micro speaker system for the iPod nano that weighs 38 grams and is the size “of a fun-size Mars bar.” It can run for 10 hours off a single AA battery. It costs £24.99 including VAT (US$44.62).
The PhotoBuddy is a retractable audio and video cable that connects to your stereo and TV to allow your iPod to display photos and videos on your home entertainment center. It costs £14.99 including VAT ($26.76).
The JumpSuit Plus is a silicon case that comes with a hard screen protector. The version for iPod features two differently sized lanyards and a soft coating of silicon over the click wheel, and is available in six colors. The version for iPod nano comes in a pack of two and ships with a sports armband. Both cost £14.99 ($26.76).
