Canon U.S.A. Inc. has introduced the PowerShot SD430 digital Elph camera. The 5.0-megapixel digital camera features built-in 802.11b wireless networking and other features. It’s expected to hit store shelves in January 2006 for US$499.99.
The PowerShot SD430 features 3x optical zoom and nine-point auto focus system. It comes with a wireless print adapter that lets you print to a PictBridge-compatible printer. Setting the camera for Auto Transfer allows it to send the digital images directly to a computer over a wireless network. It can also transfer files and print using USB 2.0.
The camera includes the wireless print adapter, power adapter, battery pack and charger, interface cable, AV cable, wrist strap and 16MB SD memory card, software and documentation.
As MacCentral posted this article, Canon had not updated its site with information about the SD430.
