The Omni Group has released
3.0.4 and OmniOutliner 3.0.4 Professional, updated versions of their outlining and organizational tool for Mac OS X. The new versions are free for registered 3.x users and can be downloaded from the company’s Web site. OmniOutliner 3 costs US$39.95; the Pro version costs $69.95.
OmniOutliner helps users create, collect and organize information using a hierarchical document structure. It can be used to draft to-do lists, create agendas, manage tasks, track expenses, take notes and more. The Professional version adds features like folded editing, sections, named styles, a clipping service, audio recording and more.
New to this release is support for Accessibility technologies in Mac OS X. The 3.0.4 release also improves integration with Spotlight, Mac OS X v10.4 “Tiger’s” search technology, and also improves support for Tiger’s Automator software.
