John Stiles has released his classic puzzle arcade game Candy Crisis as open source.
In Candy Crisis, you’re a researcher at a candy factory who must keep living candy from multiplying uncontrollably. You do that by matching four of the same-colored mutated candy pieces together. You can play alone or against a friend. The game also includes a tutorial to help you get started.
Candy Crisis was written in C, using SDL, SDL_image and Fmod. It was originally developed as a Mac application and was also ported to Windows. You can download the game and the full source code dump.
