Hot on the heels of its free discussion board software release, OmniPilot Software has announced the release of Collaborate, another free pre-built solution for Web developers who work with Lasso.
Lasso enables Web developers to build data-driven Web sites that interact with a variety of database technology. The new Collaborate solution is designed to let the site’s developer work with multiple authors as they create content for the site.
With Collaborate installed, a Web site is created with sections and pages broken off onto the left side of the page; the contents of each page are show on the right. Headers and footers and the style of the text can be adjusted.
Required for Collaborate is Lasso Professional 8; it utilizes Lasso’s built-in SQLite database. Collaborate was built using CSS and XHTML.
