Akvis released an upgrade to its automatic photo colorizing application,
on Wednesday, bringing it to version 2.0.
The software adds color to black and white photos, and runs as a plug-in with Adobe Photoshop, Photoshop Elements and Corel Photo-Paint. In addition to adding color, a Keep-Color tool will replace colors only in defined areas of the picture, while the areas masked with the Keep-Color tool remain unchanged. New to version 2 are the Undo/Redo buttons and translation of Color Library into English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese, Russian and Japanese.
Akvis offers a 10-day fully functional trial of Coloriage 2.0; registration costs $97.00 for a home license and $246.00 for a business license.
