U.K. iPod accessory maker PodGear on Friday has announced the release of its HouseParty speaker system in black, to match some iPod nanos, video iPods and iPod U2 Special Edition models. The HouseParty costs £49.99 ($87.55).
The HouseParty is a mini stereo system for the iPod, featuring two 6 watt speakers. It charges third, fourth and fifth-generation iPods, iPod minis, iPod nanos and iPod shuffles, and connects to a Mac or PC using USB. It also features an auxiliary line in port to accept audio input from another source, “feather touch” volume controls, and blue LEDs to illuminate the iPod.
