QuickerTek’s new iMac G5 Antenna provides 5.5dBi of RF power for wireless networking, which can extend the range on an iMac G5 up to three times over its stock distance, according to the company. Its suggested retail price is US$99.95.
The antenna comes with a three foot long coaxial cable to mounting the antenna where its signal strength can be maximized. The antenna is omnidirectional, so it can pick up wireless network signals from any direction. Included with the antenna is mounting hardware, a utilities disc and installation guide.
