Griffin Technology on Tuesday introduced the iTrip Auto, a new addition to its iTrip product line for Apple’s iPods. It is available now and costs $69.99.
The iTrip Auto works with any dock connector-equipped iPod, including the iPod nano and fifth-generation video iPod. It plugs into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter or 12-volt accessory jack and transmits the iPod’s audio to the vehicle’s FM radio.
A backlit LCD display shows what frequency the iTrip Auto is tuned to, and users can select LX and DX modes for best-quality audio.
