Griffin Technology on Friday announced that it’s shipping its iTrip for iPod nano, an FM transmitter that enables you to listen to the iPod nano’s music on a nearby radio. It costs $49.99.
The iTrip for iPod nano connects to the iPod nano’s dock connector and headphone jack and grips to the iPod nano using microscopic material. It uses the iPod nano’s own LCD display to show you station tuning information.
Automatic volume control dynamically adjusts the iPod for optimal audio quality. The iTrip can be set in mono or stereo mode to adjust for better reception.
A built-in USB port lets the iPod nano charge or sync music with the iTrip in place. The iTrip for iPod nano draws its power directly from the iPod nano itself.
