Canon on Wednesday introduced a new multifunction printer at the Consumer Electronics Show being held in Las Vegas. Targeted to the consumer and education markets, the MP150 includes a printer, scanner and copier.
Canon says the MP150 Photo all-in-one can print a borderless 4 x 6-inch photo in approximately 55 seconds. Photos can be printed at up to 4800 x 1200 dpi(2) in color. The device can print documents at up to 22 pages-per-minute (ppm) for monochrome and 17 ppm for color.
The photo and document scanner in the MP150 provides a maximum optical resolution of up to 1200 x 2400 dpi (19200 x 19200 dpi interpolated), according to Canon.
The Canon MP150 Photo printer will be available in January for an $89.99.
