Big Fish Games on Friday announced that it’s acquired French-based casual game maker FunPause EURL. FunPause’s games include Atlantis and Fairies.
Big Fish Games plans to continue to operate FunPause as a branch office in Montpellier, France. All of FunPause’s existing employees will join Big Fish Games, and FunPause’s former CEO, Emmanuel Marty, has been appointed Director for Big Fish Games Studio Europe.
It doesn’t look like FunPause’s Macintosh efforts have been in vain, either.
“The addition of FunPause also allows Big Fish Games to expand into the area of casual games for Mac users,” read a statement offered by the company.
