Radical Breeze on Monday announced the release of DiscBlaze 6.1, an updated version of their CD and DVD burning software for Mac OS X. The update is free for registered users; a new license costs $29.95.
DiscBlaze enables you to burn audio CDs, data CDs and DVDs, disk images and other content. You can apply custom icons, and DiscBlaze supports HFS+, Joliet, ISO9660 and UDF formats.
The 6.1 update is a “Universal Binary,” which means it supports both today’s PowerPC-based Macs and forthcoming Mac hardware that uses Intel CPUs instead. The new release promises to be the first of several applications Radical Breeze plans to update for Intel-based Macs in 2006, according to the company.
System requirements for DiscBlaze call for Mac OS X v10.4 or later and a CD or DVD burner.
