IK Multimedia will ship Classik Studio Reverb (CSR) by the end of January, the company said on Thursday at the NAMM music show in Anaheim, Calif.
CSR offers a suite of 4 high quality reverbs: Hall, Room, Ambience and Inverse, which are designed to emulate the sounds of high-quality outboard reverb units. IK said the software has the look and feel of a typical effects rack, bringing all the necessary controls to the front.
CSR operates in easy or advanced mode depending on the user. Easy mode puts the most important controls on the front panel of the plug-in — these include Mix, Diffusion, Reverb Time, Low Frequency Gain, High Frequency Cutoff and High Frequency Dampening.
Advanced mode features a variety of modeling and shaping controls with over 100 reverb parameters, all of which can be adjust.
CSR requires an 867MHz Power Macintosh G4, with 512MB of RAM, Mac OS X 10.3 or later, 1024×768 screen thousands of colors.
