Pangea Software on Friday announced the release of
v3.0, an update to the company’s popular 3D action game that now features a Universal Binary that can run natively on either Intel or PowerPC-based Macs.
Bugdom 2 is a third-person action game that was bundled on some consumer Mac models and also made available for purchase and download from Pangea’s Web site. It’s an action adventure game that happens from a bug’s-eye view — you’re Skip, and you explore a backyard world filled with insects as you try to recover your knapsack from the Bully Bee.
In addition to Universal Binary support, Bugdom 2 v3.0 also features improved joystick and gamepad support and allows keyboard customization. The new version requires Mac OS X v10.4 or later — users with earlier versions should stick with the 2.0 release, which is still available for download from Pangea’s Web site.
