Feral Interactive has had a beta patch in distribution for a while now, but made it official on Wednesday with the release of Chessmaster 9000 v1.0.2. The updated version of Feral’s chess game fixes a Tiger compatibility issue and more.
Chessmaster 9000 is the latest Macintosh edition of the well-loved computer chess game in which you can learn to play the game or polish your skills against computer-controlled opponents. The game features a wide array of customization options, as well as historic games, online multiplayer games and more.
The Tiger compatibility improvement now allows personalities to be loaded. The game update also fixes the calculation of time spent on game analysis, corrects issues related to invalid Full Scene Anti Aliasing (FSAA) settings, corrects clipped windows and dialog boxes and adds the ability to suspend operations of the game is sent to the background.
Chessmaster 9000 users can update to the new version by downloading it from Feral’s support site.
