G-Technology Inc. on Thursday announced a 160GB version of its G-Drive mini, a hard drive made for mobile Mac OS X and Windows XP users. The device costs $569.
The G-Drive mini features aluminum titanium-colored or “stealth black” finishes and use a design that complements Apple’s Power Mac G5 and PowerBook systems.
The G-Drive mini comes in FireWire 400 and USB 2.0, and FireWire 800 configurations. Bus-powered, the drives work without an AC adapter, and measure 4.9375 x 3.1875 x 0.875 inches. They come equipped with cables and leather carrying cases.
