The 1394 Trade Association is dedicated to the advancement of the IEEE 1394 standard — also know by its Apple nomenclature, FireWire, and by its Sony demarcation, i.Link. The 1394 Trade Association seeks to see FireWire used in consumer electronics, computer, peripherals, automative, industrial and other markets.
