Mark/Space Inc. on Tuesday announced plans to release a universal binary version of its Missing Sync for Palm OS software, to run natively on Intel-based Macs. Missing Sync 5.1 will be released before the end of March and will be a free upgrade for Missing Sync 5.0 users.
Missing Sync for Palm OS enables devices that run on Palm’s operating system that do not ship with Mac software the ability to synchronize their data with the Mac, and Apple applications like Address Book and iCal. It also provides additional functionality not present in Palmsource’s HotSync Manager software, such as the ability the mount memory cards on the mac desktop, WiFi synchronization and more.
The Missing Sync costs $39.95 to download or $49.95 on CD-ROM. Upgrades from previous versions cost $24.95.
