Delicious Monster Software has announced the release of Delicious Library 1.6, an updated version of their home library cataloging and sharing application. The software has gotten the Universal Binary treatment, so it runs natively on PowerPC and Intel-based Macs.
Delicious Library helps you catalog your books, movies, music and video games, and it works using iSights and other FireWire-based video cameras. Point the barcode at the camera and Delicious Library take stock of what’s there, downloading information on the title from one of several different Web sources. It also features browsing, sorting and searching capabilities, and can help you track titles you’ve lent to friends. Delicious Library even integrates with iCal and Address Book.
Besides Universal Binary support, Delicious Library 1.6 gains new barcode scanning technology that enables users of new imacs and MacBook Pros to use their integrated iSight cameras by refocusing to correct blurry imagery. Other changes have been made too.
Delicious Library costs $39.95. It’s a free update for registered users.
