Die cast toy car maker Corgi-USA on Monday announced its iCar, a $34.99 toy coming to store shelves this fall that lights up and rocks back and forth in time with the music from your iPod or other music player equipped with a headphone jack.
The iCar features 1:24 scale replicas of either the Cadillac Escalade or Nissan 240SX. You can customize the vehicles with spinning rims, graphics, chrome accessories and more.
An input jack lets you plug in your iPod or other digital music player, and the vehicle will rock to the left and right, front and back and up and down to the music. Colored lights illuminate the wheel wells, rims, undercarriage, engine and trunk areas, and speakers let you listen to what the iPod is playing. The iCar also has a speaker-only mode.
The iCar runs on three AAA batteries or with an AC adapter.
