Alessandro Levi Montalcini has released USB Overdrive v10.4.5, an update to the gamepad, joystick and mouse programming utility for Mac OS X. A free update for USB Overdrive 10.x users, USB Overdrive costs $20.
USB Overdrive enables Mac users to program support for gamepads, joysticks, multi button mice and other USB input devices, even for applications that don’t natively support such control.
Montalcini released a Universal Binary version of USB Overdrive in January for Intel-based Macs. This maintenance update fixes “a Mac OS X 10.4.5 problem that prevented the USB Overdrive from loading on Intel-based machines,” according to the developer.
