The Electronic Entertainment Expo — better known to game enthusiasts and game industry pros as E3 — has sold out. Of booth space, that is. The Entertainment Software Association (ESA) has announced that once again they’ve sold through more than 540,000 square feet of space at the Los Angeles Convention Center in Los Angeles, Calif.
Now in its twelfth year, E3 returns to LA from May 10 – 12, 2006. This trade show event, which isn’t open to the public, is the largest gathering of game developers, publishers, retailers and analysts in the world. More than 175 industry veterans lead 34 conference and workshop sessions throughout the event.
More than 400 exhibitors cover all five exhibit halls at the LA Convention Center — the equivalent to 4,650 Olympic-sized swimming pools, according to the ESA.
