Apple on Tuesday announced the dates for its 2006 Worldwide Developer Conference. The conference, which will be held in San Francisco, Calif., will take place between August 7 – 11, 2006. The developer conference is where Apple typically announces details of its upcoming operating system and other changes to the platform that will affect its developer community. Last year, Apple focused much of its time on the Intel transition, which was unveiled during CEO Steve Jobs’ keynote address.
