Bare Bones Software has released Yojimbo 1.1, an update to their information organizer for Mac OS X. A free update for registered users, Yojimbo costs $39 for a single user license.
Yojimbo is designed to help you manage information regardless of what kind it is — you can copy and paste, drag and drop, search and retrieve, use Spotlight if you’re on Tiger, and even encrypt data using AES-256. It supports Sync Services to backup and synchronize data to .Mac accounts and more.
New to this update is an “open link” button that provides one-click access to bookmark items, the ability to create new items in AppleScript to automate information storage in other formats, and more.
Yojimbo requires Mac OS X v10.4.3 or later. A demo version is available for download.
