Econ Technologies Inc. on Friday announced the release of DayChaser 2, a major update to its calendar and scheduling application for Mac OS X. A free upgrade for current users, DayChaser costs $30 to register.
DayChaser is positioned as an alternative to iCal, Apple’s own calendaring application. With DayChaser, you can create and manage multiple calendars, each with its own set of scheduled entries, to do list items and more. You can customize filters, define custom categories, color code your entries, set custom views and more.
New to this release is Universal Binary support for Intel-based Macs. Calendar entries get a makeover in this release. You can open multiple entry windows to compare schedule events. You can turn any entry into a To Do list item. There’s more, too — visit the site for more information.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3 or later. A downloadable demo is available.
