Belkin’s new Flip is a keyboard, video and mouse (KVM) sharing peripheral specifically designed for quick connections to laptop systems. The USB version of Flip, which works with Macs, costs $59.99. It’s coming in early April.
Flip shares one analog (VGA) monitor, a USB keyboard, USB mouse and audio system between two computers. A round interface lets you switch between them. It supports resolutions of up to 2048 x 1536 pixels. The two-color LED indicates which computer Flip is accessing at the time.
The remote enables you to keep wiring and connections out of sight; Flip is designed to quickly connect to both the desktop and laptop systems.
