Monotype Imaging on Wednesday announced the release of ITC Library, OpenType Edition. It’s a collection of more than 1,650 typefaces in 1,320 OpenType files on one CD, and it includes 100 new typefaces and more than 650 exclusive designs. The library costs $3,899 for a 10 CPU license or $5,999 for a 20 CPU license.
OpenType fonts are cross-platform compatible between Macs and Windows PCs. Features include the ability to access alternate characters without switching to a different font, replace multiple characters with ligatures and more.
Best-selling highlights of the library include ITC Stone, ITC Franklin Gothic, ITC Officina Sans and ITC Conduit. ITC Edwardian Script and ITC Bradley Hand display designs are included, and new releases include ITC Resavska, ITC Tactile and ITC Stone Humanist.
