Following a public beta test offered earlier this month, XtraLean Software on Friday announced the release of ShutterBug 2.0, a new version of its visual Web page publishing tool. Shutterbug 2.0 costs $50 to register; a free demo is available. It’s a free update for registered users.
Developed as an easy-to-use visual Web page editor, ShutterBug includes more than two dozen built-in themes to help you set up a Web page quickly. You can add photo albums, have control over where text and images are placed, and can control text effects too.
New to this release is the addition of ShutterBug Xtras, which let you incorporate Flash and QuickTime movies, MP3 and other audio, contact forms, page counters, HTML snippets and many other forms of content into your designs.
Also new in the 2.0 release is an improved user interface; content window additions like iPhoto integration; FTP and SFTP support, RSS feed support and much more.
System requirements call for Mac OS X v10.3. or later. ShutterBug 2.0 is a Universal Binary for Intel-based Macs.
