Among its other products introduced this week at the Musikmesse tradeshow in Frankfurt, Germany, CME introduced the VX Series Keyboard Controllers. The controllers include Digital Audio Workstation (DAW) integration features like motorized 60mm faders and a modular expansion bay.
The controllers are made from an all aluminum chassis and range in sizes from 49 velocity-sensitive semi-weighted keys to 88 professional graded hammer action weighted keys.
The VX Series also feature 64 different types of programmable controllers including motorized faders, knobs, trigger pads, a ribbon controller, buttons, pitch bend and modulation wheel, transport controls, pedals and a breath controller.
Yamaha, the VX includes a built-in USB audio and MIDI interface and will be available from Yamaha in July 2006. The VX5 (49 key) will cost $899.99; VX6 (61 key) is $999.99; VX7 (76 key) is $1199.99; and the VX8 (88 key) is $1299.99.
