Aspyr Media announced Monday that it is shipping The Sims 2: Nightlife, an expansion pack for its Mac conversion of The Sims 2, from Electronic Arts. The add-on, which requires the original game to play, costs $34.99.
The Sims 2: Nightlife includes more than 125 new objects and items for your Sims to purchase, as well as a new downtown area to explore, where your Sims can go out to dinner, go on dates, go to cubs and more. Your Sims can also buy their own cars for the first time — no more carpooling.
Also new to this release is the addition of the Pleasure Seeker life aspiration, where you try to make your Sims happy by having a good time. There’s also vampires, for Sims who love the night life enough to stay there all the time.
The Sims 2: Nightlife is rated “T” for Teen by the ESRB. For another look at The Sims 2: Nightlife, make sure to read Macworld’s review.
