Casual game publisher Big Fish Games has announced the expansion of their Macintosh download section to include more than 20 games.
This past January Big Fish Games announced the acquisition of casual Mac game publisher and developer Funpause. Funpause’s support of the Mac market was of key interest to Big Fish, according to a statement offered at the time. Since then, Big Fish has offered new casual game releases for Mac users as well.
Big Fish Senior Vice President Cory Finnell said the expanded Mac section was a result of a flood of requests from Mac gamers looking for more downloads.
“Mac users are some of the most dedicated of all casual gamers,” said Finnell.
Big Fish’s Mac offerings run the gamut from puzzle to mah jong, card, action and arcade-style casual games, all priced at $19.99. You can download free one-hour trial versions before you pay for registration codes.
The expanded Mac download section doesn’t just include Big Fish and Funpause titles, either — it’s a portal that offers games from Reflexive Entertainment, Toybox, Hipsoft and Grubby Games.
