Case-mate has introduced three new products for PowerBook and MacBook Pro users — Handle-It, the Silhouette and Glovez.
Handle-It is a handle for PowerBooks and MacBook Pros. Made of stamped aircraft aluminum, the handle is wrapped in leather and connects to the laptop using allen screws, affixed to holes in the laptop’s design. It costs $49.99.
The Silhouette is a polycarbonate cradle that tilts the PowerBook or MacBook Pro towards you on a desk; it can be used with or without a desktop keyboard, and costs $34.95.
Glovez are nylon laptop “sleeves” — low profile carrying cases. They’re lined with neoprene to protect the PowerBook or MacBook Pro from getting scratched, and have nylon exteriors accented with leather piping. The flap is sealed with double velcro closures. Case-mate offers them in Mocha Brown and Metallic Silver. Glovez cost $24.99.
Case-mate is now accepting orders; it expects to ship the Handle-It and Glovez starting on April 20, 2006.
