In addition to Universal Binary support for Intel-based Macs, new features in Compression Engine and Compression Manager include support for Material Exchange Format (MXF) and IMX (Sony’s MXF implementation), GXF, transport streams, H.264 High Profile, Flash 8 with two-pass encoding and AAC Audio. Optimization has also been provided for Xsan-based systems.
