The third annual MacGathering brings together Macintosh and iPod enthusiasts throughout Southern California on May 19 and 20, 2006. The event will feature iPod tutoring sessions courtesy of iProng, the show’s coordinator announced today.
Taking place at the Beverly Garland’s Holiday Inn in North Hollywood, Calif., the MacGathering features an exhibit hall that’s open to all attendees, free training sessions and instructor-led classes on a variety of topics ranging from pro music recording to Final Cut editing, business seminars and more. Special events include the “MacMixer,” a cocktail party for all attendees, a keynote address hosted by comedian Sinbad and “Mac Jeopardy,” hosted by Boston Legal’s René Auberjonois.
iProng — formerly iPod Garage — is an exhibitor at the show, and they’ll be offering free hands-on iPod and iTunes tutoring sessions, as well as free seminars describing the relative benefits of different iPod models.
Macworld is a sponsor of this year’s MacGathering.
