Belkin’s new Flip Wireless is part of the company’s line of Keyboard, Video and Mouse (KVM) switches. The new $79.99 Flip Wireless — coming in June — shares a single display, keyboard, mouse and speakers between two computers, and lets you switch back and forth using a wireless remote control.
Like its less-expensive remoteless cousin, Flip Wireless works with one analog VGA display, a USB keyboard, USB mouse and speaker system, and can connect to any two computers — Mac and PC, laptop and desktop machine, and so on. It supports video resolutions of up to 2048 x 1536 pixels. A two-color LED lets you know which device Flip is accessing.
The wireless remote control uses Radio Frequency (RF) technology and works within 10 feet of your computers.
Belkin’s Web site had not been updated with information on the new device as Macworld posted this article.
